Corporate Aspirations for 2026

As we welcome the new year, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings for the season. I deeply appreciate your support throughout the past year and sincerely wish you health and success in the year ahead.

In 2025, amid major shifts in the global economy and the rapid advancement of AI technologies, the Komori Group has continued to embrace change and take on new challenges, steadily generating tangible results. Centered on strengthening our core businesses and expanding growth areas, we advanced initiatives such as productivity enhancement through Smart Factory pilot programs, reinforcement of our service framework in Japan and overseas, and organizational transformation through global talent development. At China Print 2025, an international trade show, we presented solutions that integrate productivity improvements through automation and labor savings, earning an outstanding response from visitors.

This year, under our corporate purpose — Delivering Kando “beyond expectations” by contributing to society with print technology — we will unite to advance our four business domains, further enhance our competitiveness in the global market, and contribute to improving our customers’ profitability.

In the offset printing business, we will continue to advance environmentally friendly technologies and drive productivity innovation through our Smart Factory concept, strengthening our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions. In the service division, we are enhancing customer support capabilities by launching a new contact center in Japan and beginning operation of a global help desk overseas.

In the digital printing business, demand for solutions that deliver both speed and quality continues to grow. To meet these needs, global deliveries have begun for the J-throne 29, our state-of-the-art B2-size UV inkjet digital printing press. We will continue working to expand sales worldwide.

In the security printing business, we are increasing our market share in banknote printing systems, including orders received from the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing for U.S. dollar banknotes. Leveraging KGC-S (Komori Global Center – Security) located at the Tsukuba Plant, we will expand beyond banknotes into new security printing fields, delivering safety, security, and trust to countries around the world.

In the PE (Printed Electronics) business, we are advancing the development of thin-film coating technologies that enable higher productivity in next-generation device manufacturing, including perovskite solar cells, while also building an environment that promotes open innovation.

As we enter the final year of our 7th Medium-Term Management Plan, we will pursue further growth guided by three pillars:
sustainable growth and improved profitability, strengthened competitiveness in the global market, and the creation of a self-directed organization built on diversity and autonomy.
By embracing diverse cultures and values, and by ensuring that each employee thinks, learns, and acts proactively, we will navigate an era of rapid agile change and deliver new value to both our customers and society.?We kindly ask for your continued guidance and support throughout the year.
