A
complete house of printing, Sonipat (Haryana)-based Shree Jee Printers serves clients
considerably in the publishing and packaging segments. The company has
bolstered its overall competency in printing and productivity by investing in a
new KOMORI offset press. Bought from KOMORI India, a brand new Lithrone GL437
installed recently in Shree Jee Printers’ production setup is opening up a new
chapter in the company’s book printing as well as packaging print production.
Shree
Jee Printers has been evolved in the printing & packaging industry since
last three decades or so. In this, Mr Rajesh Garg, who is the second generation
in the business and currently at the helm of the company, recalls. “My father
Shri Ghanshyam Das Garg, who is our founder, started the business in Delhi
during the late 1980s. He is kind of a born to print person. He used to run
some Dominant presses for printing and manufacturing shoe boxes and other
related packaging items,” he mentions.
As
the trends in the printing & packaging market keep changing, technologies
get upgraded, new machines unveiling, demands from clients for high-quality
& highly-innovative products flooding... at the end, this overall dynamism
has triggered Shree Jee Printers to go for persistent upgrades of manpower and
machine portfolio. In this, Mr Rajesh says they have recently undergone tremendous
upgrades.
“Adoption
of the Lithrone GL437 is a big turning point for us as this brand new KOMORI
press has the prowess to boost quality, productivity, and efficiency of prints
and volume, which we deliver in accordance to what our clients want, either in
the arenas of publishing or packaging,” tells Mr Rajesh, adding, “Though we
have been in book printing business for years, this Lithrone GL437 is redefining
yet another level of quality printing and productivity.”
A
robust and compact press, Lithrone GL437 is perfectly designed to produce A-1
graphics with maximum sheet size of 640x940mm, compatibly running on substrates
of diverse thicknesses ranging from 0.04mm up to 0.45mm. It operates at the
speed of 15,000sph with in-line coater. “Using this KOMORI press commendable
for its speed and media flexibility, we are now capable to produce sheets up to
37inch in width, which is empathetically needed to take care of clients’
demands in both the arenas of publishing and packaging,” emphasises Mr Rajesh.
Mr
Rajesh is joined by his two dynamic and enthusiastic sons, Mr Shivay Garg and
Mr Shivesh Garg, in the business. They take care of the overall operation and
production with a new vision for expansion on various fronts. Mr Shivay, says,
“We manufacture books, predominantly softbound medical books. As long as the
new Lithrone GL437 is with us now, we are fully set to scale new yardsticks of
quality printing, innovation, and productivity.”
Telling why they chose the Lithrone GL437 over others, Mr Shivesh comments, “Many a time, we compared KOMORI to another close competitor brand. Ultimately, we went for KOMORI because of multiple factors among which are the speed, quality, and reasonable price.” He conclusively asserts that Lithrone GL437 is the chosen press to tap the unprecedentedly flourishing Indian publishing market, likewise, the packaging domain too.
