Kolkata’s Vanshika Graphics signed purchase agreement for another KOMORI machine at Pack-O-Printex 2026

A prominent 20-year-old complete pre-press house in the City of Joy, Kolkata-based Vanshika Graphics switched to commercial printing a couple of years back with the purchase of a brand new KOMORI Enthrone 429 sheetfed offset press from KOMORI India. Commercial printing activity of the company will be enhanced to another level because yet another brand new KOMORI press is arriving. The second KOMORI press to be arrived soon at Vanshika Graphics’ production facility is a Komori GL437.

Mr. Sanjay Sureka, Proprietor of Vanshika Graphics, informs, “Ever since we started engaging in commercial printing in 2024 with the Enthrone 429, it has been our mission to buy one or more brand new KOMORI presses for taking our commercial printing to the next level. We finalised the booking of the brand new 4-colour Lithrone GL437 during the Pack-O-Printex 2026 expo held on May 15–18 in Kolkata. This new KOMORI press is packed with modern features and advanced capabilities which we have been looking for.”

Despite being a complete pre-press house, equipped fully with high-end platesetter and CtP machines, serving a host of printers across Kolkata for over the last two decades, Vanshika Graphics is now pushing the boundaries of commercial printing to another level. “Certainly, with the installation of the newly booked Lithrone GL437 in a few months, we will definitely boost the value and productivity of our commercial printing for delivering an expanded range of finished products like calendars, booklets, brochures, pamphlets, marketing collateral, etc.”

Chosen by Vanshika Graphics for its modern features and capabilities, Lithrone GL437 is a perfectly engineered sheetfed offset press for high-volume commercial printing. It operates at the maximum speed of 15,000sph (sheets per hour), with an inline coater, seamlessly handling sheets of sizes up to 640x940mm. Stocks in thicknesses ranging from 0.04mm up to 0.45mm are compatibly handled by the Komori GL437, while it could be up to 0.6mm or more in other commercial variants.

“In addition to the brand KOMORI and technology behind it, we are happy and satisfied to be with the team KOMORI India who are truly amiable and supportive,” tells Mr. Sureka, adding, “A leading global brand from Europe approached us to buy their sheetfed offset press while our decision for the Komori GL437 was not finalised; however, we said direct ‘no’ to them because we never ever thought of going for any brand but KOMORI. That’s our decision now, then, and forever!”

Mr. Jitender Rohilla, General Manager–Sales, KOMORI India Pvt. Ltd., informs, “It’s been our pride and privilege to be partnered with Vanshika Graphics as our valued client over the last couple of years. Continuing their trust and confidence upon the KOMORI technology, they have booked the komori GL437 to elevate commercial printing. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to providing them with more new presses as per their needs and requirements in the future.”

When asked about their next plan on the printing front, Mr. Sureka confidently says ‘adoption of a 7-colour KOMORI press’ with which Vanshika Graphics is planning to foray into the packaging printing arena, most probably in two years. Backed by a team of 45 skilled and experienced staff members, Vanshika Graphics is now on the road to expanding its overall activities with the constant adoptions of modern and high-end machines like the newly booked Komori GL437.
